Miami, Fla. - (2011 Feb. 11) - Thirty-seven Melges one design teams have assembled in Miami, ready to compete at the 2011 Miami Winter Regatta, hosted by the one and only Coconut Grove Sailing Club (CGSC).

San Francisco, California - February 8, 2011 - The International Melges 24 Class Association and The San Francisco Yacht Club are pleased to announce that the 2013 Melges 24 World Championship will be hosted by the San Francisco Yacht Club.

As well as great news from our new classes in Denmark and the Netherlands this week has also brought exciting new from France where there is a new drive and enthusiasm amongst the Melges 24 sailors.

It's been a busy week in Melges 24 World and the news is all good with Denmark joining the Netherlands in confirming the creation of their own National Melges 24 Class Association.
