It's been a busy week in Melges 24 World and the news is all good with Denmark joining the Netherlands in confirming the creation of their own National Melges 24 Class Association.

We are delighted to announce that the Netherlands has now formed its own Dutch Melges 24l Class Association.
Middle Harbour Yacht Club 13th, 14th January 2011 - The Melges 24 fleet had a fantastic six race series over the last two days, racing between North and South head of Sydney Harbour.
Santa Barbara Yacht Club invites the Melges 24 Class to the inaugural Santa Barbara Melges Race Week. This exclusive, single class regatta will kick off the California Cup for 2011. The event will feature three days of racing and fun in the open ocean.
With four races now completed Flavio Favini and Lorenzo Bressani are tied on equal points with Favini just taking the lead on countback. Alec Cutler is three points adrift in third place with John Porter a single point behind him and Bora Gulari a further point back in fifth place.
