The Estonians dominated the Nordic Championship 2012 taking gold, silver, bronze and 5th. This year´s Nordics were a three day event sailed outside Helsinki. Race harbor HSK Lauttasaari (same as Jacob Creek Europeans in 2003).
Entries are now up to 117 for the 2012 Melges 24 Worlds (27 July to 4 August) and there is just one more day to go to make your entry and avoid the 50% late entry surcharge which kicks in at midnight on Friday 15 July.

The Swiss Melges 24 Class has launched a brand new website to keep all their sailors udated with the latest news and events in Switzerland and published the Notice of Race for the 2012 Swiss Open Championship.
Last weekend the annual Delta Lloyd North Sea Regatta was sailed of the coast of the Hague in the Netherlands. The challenging location on the North Sea coast with tidal waters make it a special event for every sailor.
With three weeks left to go the 2012 Melges24 US Nationals has registered more than 30 boats. “They are coming from all over”, says Seattle Fleet Captain Keith Hammer.
Last weekend's Volvo Cup event in Scarlino brought 34 boats from 8 nations to the line for a challenging weekend of racing. The winds ranged from 6 to 14 knots and were very shifty thanks to a weather system which was crossing the region through the regatta.
