2026 Melges 24 European Sailing Series – Event 2 in Trieste is One Month Away

21 April 2026 - Trieste, Italy - The countdown is on. In just one month, the international Melges 24 fleet returns to the waters of Trieste, Italy, for the second event of the 2026 Melges 24 European Sailing Series.

From May 22–24, competitors will race for the Coppa Tito Nordio - the event of the Italian Melges 24 Trofeo Gaudi, at the renowned Yacht Club Adriaco, host venue of the 2025 Melges 24 World Championship. The same iconic location, the same outstanding hospitality—and this time, hopes are high for a little more cooperation from the wind gods.

A total of 9 races are scheduled across three days of competition. For teams arriving early, registration opens on Wednesday and continues through Thursday. The first warning signal is scheduled for Friday, May 22 at 12:00, followed by the Opening Party later that evening.

Competitors are encouraged to register now. The Early Bird Entry Fee remains available until May 15.

Yacht Club Adriaco, together with the Italian Melges 24 Class and the International Melges 24 Class Association, looks forward to welcoming teams back to Trieste.
