The German Melges 24 Cup will take place from 17-19 May at Tutzing on Germany's Lake Starnberg. This regatta is being included for the first time included in Volkswagen Sail & Drive Championship which will help give additional media exposure to the Melges 24 in Germany.

This past weekend the Melges 24 congregated on San Francisco Bay for the US Pacific Coast Championship. The event provided an excellent warm up opportunity for the crews preparing for the forthcoming Fullpower Melges 24 World Championship which gets underway in Santa Cruz late next week.
This morning's e-mail brought a great note from Eamonn O'Nolan, owner of GBR676 "Bateauneuf" who is currently having the time of his life driving his Melges 24 across the United States from Key West to Santa Cruz.

MOST URGENT - Would all Corinthian teams planning to compete in the 2007 Fullpower Melges 24 World Championship please note that the NOR requires that they submit their Corinthian entry including the names, ISAF ID numbers and ISAF Classifications, for all their crew members by this Friday 6 April.
Warm up for the Fullpower World Championship April 21-22 in glorious San Francisco, California at the highly contested Pacific Coast Championship Regatta.
Please note that the final entry deadline for the Palma Vela is 31st March. The organisers kindly extended the deadline beyond their original dates for us but 31st March is the final cut off so please take action now if you wish to race.
