The Czech Melges 24 Association was founded at the beginning of the year 2007. This year the class is just at its start and during the season 2007 five regattas will be organized including the International Championship.
The German Melges24 Cup, now in its 10th edition, was sailed at Tutzing from 17.-19. May 2007. 11 Boats signed in and were on the starting line as well.

The final day of sailing at the 2007 Fullpower Melges 24 Worlds was one of the most spectacular days of sailing any of us have ever witnessed with bright sunshine, winds of 18-30 knots and amazing surfing waves.
As if the competitors didn't have enough to contend with here at the Fullpower Melges 24 Worlds, the fleet has also been attracting a lot of attention from aircraft overflying the race area.
