Trieste, Italy has been selected by majority vote of the IM24CA Extraordinary General Meeting on August 12, 2024, as the host venue for the 2025 World Championships.

I am delighted that the International Melges 24 class had a choice between two great venues for the 2025 Worlds: Trieste, Italy and Portoroz, Slovenia. Thank you to the Yacht Club Marina Portoroz and the Yacht Club Adriaco for submitting bids. Congratulations to the Italian class and the Yacht Club Adriaco on being the successful bidder! I look forward to seeing as many boats as possible in Italy for the 2025 Worlds!
