The Burke brothers and their crew aboard Grins sailed an impressive regatta against some incredibly close competition to take the 2006 Sayra Championship at Charleston Race Week in South Carolina this weekend.
With the 2006 season now getting underway please don't forget that if you want to race in the Corinthian (all amateur crew) division at Melges 24 events this year you need to ensure your crew members have all obtained or renewed their ISAF Sailor Classifications.

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Mr Shojiro Yamazaki, who died of cancer of the liver on March 19th. Back in 1995 Mr Yamazaki visited Zenda to buy the first Melges 24 to be shipped to Japan.
