The French Melges 24 National Championship is returning to DINARD after the very successful and memorable Championship there in September 1999 Dinard is the place where the French fleet was born in December 1996 with the delivery of the first 3 Melges 24s - among them ZIG ZAG 13.

The rapid increase in interest and awareness of the Melges 24 is having a very positive effect on the existing Japanese Melges 24 Class Association which is experiencing a resurgence of interest.
