Annapolis, Md.; Eastport Yacht Club - Successful America's Cup tactician Terry Hutchinson has joined a distinguished roster of Melges 24 sailors who have entered the 2007 Melges 24 Northeast District Championship (NEDC) hosted by the Eastport Yacht Club, October 19-21.

On the 14th of October the thirty-ninth edition of the legendary Barcolana was raced on the Adriatic Sea off the coast of Trieste. With a total entry of some 1,831 boats this is one of the biggest regattas in the Mediterranean and this year 7 Melges 24s joined the entry list.
