Middelfart Melges 24 World Championship 2023 Dates Confirmed

June 27, 2022 - Middelfart, Denmark - The International Melges 24 Class Association and GoSail as the organiser along with the Danish Melges 24 Class Association are pleased to confirm that the 2023 Melges 24 World Championship will take place from June 24 through July 1 2023 in Middelfart Marina - the venue of the 2015 Melges 24 World Championship.

The Organising Committee will be lead by Søren Laugesen. Søren facilitated all major match race events arranged in Denmark in the last 18 years along with a great number of other championships in various classes.

In 2015 the same organiser ran the 2015 ISAF Women's Match Racing World Championship and the 2015 Melges 24 World Championship within two weeks.

The organisers are privileged to have strong support from the local municipality, region, public organisations, as well as local and regional business.

Middelfart is located in the centre of Denmark, 2 hours on a direct train from the International Airport of Copenhagen. 40 min. by car from the International Airport of Billund, and 2 hours by car from Hamburg Airport.
