EUROPEAN RANKING GETS UNDERWAY AT SNIM

The SNIM Regatta, which takes place this Easter weekend in Marseille, always provides a spectacular opener for the Melges 24 European Ranking Series and SNIM 2004 is set to be another fantastic event. With a regular turnout of around 70 boats the SNIM organisers work hand in hand with the French Melges 24 Class to ensure that this regatta is one of the most spectacular of the season.

The 2004 SNIM Melges 24 fleet is as hot as ever with all the European stars out in force. As always the French and Italian fleets will be very strong and other top crews are travelling from all over Europe and Scandinavia. The big names include 2001 Melges 24 World Champion Flavio Favini from Italy, France’s Sebastain Col and the P&P Team fresh from their impressive victory in Key West and Britain’s Team Gill headed up by Quentin Strauss who dominated the Melges 24 class at the prestigious Coupe de France team racing regatta in March.
