2026 Melges 24 Worlds - Early Bird Entry Fee Deadline Approaches – March 15
12 March 2026 - Harbor Springs, MI, USA - The countdown is on for the 2026 Melges 24 World Championship, set for September 19–26, 2026, as the global Melges 24 fleet prepares to converge on Harbor Springs, hosted by Little Traverse Yacht Club.
As the premier championship of the International Melges 24 Class Association, the event welcomes teams from around the world to one of North America’s most celebrated sailing venues, where top-level competition meets fresh Great Lakes conditions and a memorable shoreside experience.
With warm freshwater, reliable breeze, and racecourses positioned just minutes from the harbor, Harbor Springs offers an ideal playground for high-performance one-design racing, while the town itself provides a scenic and walkable setting for teams, families, and supporters.
The Early Bird Entry Fee deadline is March 15, 2026 at 20:00 GMT-6. Valid entries received by this deadline benefit from the reduced entry fee of USD 1,750. After that, the standard entry fee of USD 1,950 applies to valid entries received until September 1, 2026 at 20:00 GMT-6.
The entry fee includes berthing at regatta sites during the event, trailer storage in designated parking areas, and tickets for all competing crew to official social functions, including the Opening Ceremony, Crew Party, social events, and Prize Giving. Entries become valid only once payment has been received and confirmed by the Organizing Authority.
To support early planning, organizers have also secured a lodging benefit for registered competitors and teams. Using code LTBYC26, teams receive 10% off accommodations from June 1 through the end of September 2026 at The Highlands, Boyne Mountain Resort, and Inn at Bay Harbor, with options ranging from hotel rooms to condos and houses.
