Andrea Racchelli Victorious At Kiel Week

Kiel Week on Germany's Baltic coast proved the ideal warm up event for many of the crews on their way to Aarhus for the European Championship and 27 crews from 7 nations took the opportunity to test their metal at this famous regatta.
It was a tough week with 15 races being sailed giving the teams plenty to get their teeth into. Ultimately victory went to Italy's Andrea Racchelli racing Altea with Germany's Oliver Schwall second, John den Engelsman from the Netherlands in third and Jesper Bendix of Denmark fourth.
