Dimitri Nicolopoulos reports - Not everything was typical today for the first day of the Primo Cup in Monaco. Of course we had the classic very little wind 30 degrees shifts with swell but THERE WAS NO SUN!
It is hard to believe St. Pete NOOD, the second event of the World Ranking and the first South East Championship Series, is only a week away. From discussions, it appears there will be over 30 boats by the end of registration on Thursday night. Excellent turnout.
SNIM 2004 is gearing up and as usual we are expecting around 80 boats for this flagship event! Societe Nautique de Marseille is working hard with the French Class support to make the 2004 event once again unforgetable. The racing will begin on friday April 9th and last until monday April 12th.
Exciting news reaches us from Spain where the Melges class is attracting a lot of interest. Already several boats have been acquired by Spanish sailors and the Spanish teams are planning on competing in some of the major European events this year.
