From Italian Class Secretary Natasha Avlijas - We had some great sailing again, in the Volvo Cup. This time it was our first event in the far south.

We are in the process of working up a shipping deal with Peters & May for European crews wishing to take their boats to Florida for the Worlds.

In Oslo this weekend one season ends and another starts with the Musto Ski-Yachting. Friday afternoon there is slalom in the Tryvannskleiva just outside Oslo city. You can go all the way to the slalom hill by subway no 1. Saturday there is sailing in the Oslo fjord.

From Tomi Hakola In Finland - Sailing season starting within 2 weeks in Finland although there's still approximately a 10-15 centimeter thick ice cover on the sea outside the city of Helsinki. Luckily the night air temperatures have been for the past week above 0 degrees.

From Natasa The Italian Melges24 class is alive and kicking! The Volvo Cup started in March in Alassio, unfortunately with a one week delay. We had to decide at the very last minute, but theres not much we could do, against the snow storm that closed down highways, railroads and airports!
