Storm Capital Wins the Grundig Hankø Race Week 2024

1 July 2024 - Hankø, Norway - The Grundig Hankø Race Week 2024, held in Hanko, Norway from June 26-29, was a spectacular sailing event featuring 14 teams competing also for the Melges 24 European Sailing Series points.

The event, organized by the Royal Norwegian Yachtclub, Fredrikstad Seilforening, and Hanko Yacht Club, and supported by GRUNDIG, saw Storm Capital NOR751, led by Peder Jahre, with Marius Falch Orvin, Sivert Denneche,  Pål R Tønnesson and Lillan Agerup, emerge victorious with 6 net points.

Two Nergaards, Peder and Hans Herman, battled for second and third place to complete the podium. This time, experience prevailed.

Blow NOR787, captained by Peder Nergaard, with Petrus Eide, Fabian Spone, and Morten Helgesen, took second place with 10 points, while Team Baghdad Prospects NOR 600, led by young Hans Herman Nergaard, with Alexander Hylen Klippenberg, Daniel Andersen, Jacob Undrum and Tomas Mathisen, secured third place with 12 points.
