KEY LARGO, Fla., Dec. 13, 2005 Consistency paid off for the Italian boat Marrachech Express which jumped into the points lead at the 2005 Corum Melges 24 World Championship at Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo today after two races in fresh northerly breezes.
Day three of the 2005 Corum Melges 24 World Championship got off to a great start with 16-18 knots of wind, blue skies, and planning conditions for the downwind runs in race one. After races five and six today the fleet has reached the midpoint of the regatta.

The first race of the 2005 Corum Melges 24 World Championship at Ocean Reef Club got off to a slow start today but ended with a bang. The first race was delayed because of fickle winds ranging from 3-5 knots and cycling between 270 and 355 degrees.
