November 29, 2019 - The World Council of the International Melges 24 Class Association (IM24CA) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Bergen, Norway on November 9th. While no remarkable amendments to the class rules or documents were made, a few members of the Executive Committee concluded their terms and new officers were elected and appointed to serve the Melges 24 class.

November 25, 2019 - Charleston, S.C. USA - The 2020 Melges 24 World Championship will take place on 1-9 May 2020, in Charleston, South Carolina. Organized by the International Melges 24 Class Association (IM24CA) in conjunction with, U.S. Melges 24 Championship Events, Inc. and Regatta Management, the 5-day regatta is predicted to be one of the most well-attended Championships in recent Melges 24 Class history.

Ayres-Gulari - Bushwhacker Cup 2019

November 19, 2019 - Pensacola FL, USA - The three teams leading Pensacola Yacht Club’s Melges24 Atlantic & Gulf Coast Championship aka the Bushwhacker Cup after Day 1 were confirmed as the three podium finishers on Day 2. The one race that PRO Hal Smith got off the line saw the leaders in front, bow to bow, in clean air after each made a quick tack to Port in the middle of the line. Then the general recall horn sounded.
