Geelong Melges 24 Worlds 2014 - Entries From 8 Nations And 4 Continents Already Confirmed

In the first week since the entry system opened for the 2014 Melges 24 World Championship 22 teams from 8 nations and 4 continents have already confirmed their attendance! The overseas entries to date include Bruce Ayres from California, Flavio Favini and the Blu Moon crew from Switzerland, Tetsuya Matsunaga and the ThreeBond team from Japan, Andrea Racchelli and Riccardo Simoneschi from Italy, Germany's Bent Dietrich, Canada's Zarko Draganic and Thomas Hacklin from Finland.  Harry Melges has also confirmed he will be there, Brian Porter's team are hoping to defend their World Title too and Australia anticipates a total home entry of around 25 boats (currently 14 Australian teams are registered)

There is a great shipping deal from San Francisco which makes getting to Geelong even easier and shipping deals are also available from Europe as well plus there are a limited number of charter deals still available.
