| ABOUT IMCA WORLD RANKING SERIES |
The World, European and North American Ranking Series commenced in 2001 and year-by-year, has become very popular among European and North American sailors alike.
The purpose of the IMCA World Ranking is to encourage Melges 24 owners and sailors to travel and attend major events. Each season the IMCA reviews the program and scoring system to ensure that it continues to meet the Melges 24 Owner and sailor needs.
How does it work?
• Points are awarded to the helmsmen not the owner of the boat.
• In the World Ranking, competitors will count their best four results.
