2019 Melges 24 North American Championship

Januar 14, 2019 - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - The 2019 Melges 24 North American Championship (NAC) hosted by the Grand Traverse Yacht Club (GTYC) in Traverse City, Mich., is now open for entries. Already, 26 teams have signed up for two days of practice and tuning followed by three extravagant days of world-class, championship racing on the warm waters of West Grand Traverse Bay.

December 3, 2018 - Miami, US - "Miami never disappoints...," proclaimed Monsoon winning tactician Mike Buckley on his Instagram feed after racing from sunny and warm Miami, Florida where the Melges 24 Class was the largest fleet in attendance at the first ever Bacardi Winter Series. Twenty teams traveled to the warmest spot in the country to take in some much needed one-design therapy and Biscayne Bay sailing.

December 3, 2018 - Miami, US - Biscayne Bay was open again for business as the inaugural three event Bacardi Invitational Winter Series kicked off December 1-­-2 in Miami, FL. The event is an off-­-shoot of the perennial Bacardi Invitational Regatta now run in conjunction with the legendary Bacardi Cup every March.

October 15, 2018 - Luino, Italy - 2018 Melges 24 European Sailing Series comes to its end in Luino Italy with the XV edition of Lino Favini Cup. After six events held in Punta Ala, Portoroz, Torbole, Riva del Garda, Domaso and Luino the overwhelming winner both in overall and Corinthian division is reigning Melges 24 European Champion TAKI 4 while the winner of the final event in Luino is Flavio Favini and his fellow sailors from well awarded BLUE MOON sailing on Gianluca Perego's MAIDOLLIS.

October 13, 2018 - Luino, Italy-  Three races were sailed on the second day of the XV Lino Favini Cup in Luino. Amazing summerlike October day and better wind conditions made the Race Committee and sailors happy allowing execute one race in the morning breeze and two in the afternoon. Local team of Flavio Favini on Maidollis collected three bullets and takes the lead after five races sailed.

October 12, 2018 – Luino, Italy – First day of the XV Lino Favini Cup does not betray the Melges 24 sailors as the rainy yesterday turned to sunny and lovely autumn day in Luino today. However, today’s conditions were not typical to Lake Maggiore and sailors were facing light and tricky winds. Miles Quinton’s Gill Race Team with Geoff Carveth helming from Great Britain was the best to read the tricks of the lake collecting two bullets.

October 11, 2018 - Luino, Italy- The finale of the Melges 24 European Sailing Series will begin tomorrow, on Friday October 12th at noon in Luino, Italy. Nineteen Melges 24 teams representing seven nations will have a great weekend sailing on the Eastern shore of Lake Maggiore, locally said Verbàno. A maximum of eight races will determine the winner of the 2018 Melges 24 European Sailing Series, 2018 Italian Melges 24 Tour, 2018 Melges 24 Swiss champion and the winner of the event itself.

October 1, 2018 - Tallinn, Estonia -  Melges 24 Open Estonian Championships were held in the Kalev Yacht Club, Tallinn (the venue of the Melges 24 Worlds 2010) on September 28-30, offering excitement and tension until the last race, because just during the last race, the fate of the Championship became clear. The Championship titles were grabbed by Tiit Vihul, Martin Müür, Lauri Kärner, Ago Rebane and Marilyn Koitnurm sailing on boat Rock City.
