The enthusiasm of the new Melges 24 Fleet in Chile knows no bounds right now and to support the ever growing number of sailors racing Melges 24 in Chile the class has launched a brand new Website which will carry all their latest news, regatta information, results, photos and video.

After six races and two days of incredibly exciting Melges 24 racing Bandit AUS 814 claims the East Coast Championship over Accru AUS 679 by one point in the Melges 24’s.

For me as Class Administrator its always a bit nerve wracking when we have a last minute change of plan for an event and so when I was advised that the 2012 Melges 24 Worlds would move to another location in Italy I was naturally worried about what that would mean in practical terms.
