TheInternational Melges 24 Class(IMCA) is delighted to announce that high performance sailing clothing specialistMagic Marinewill be the title sponsor of the 2013 Magic Marine Melges 24 European Championship, to be held at Medemblik, Netherlands from 15-22 August.

Great news – The organisers of the 2013 Melges 24 European Championship in Medemblik (15-22 August) have generously extended the standard rate entry fee until the next deadline which is 16 July 2013 so please hurry up and make your entries as soon as possible to take advantage of this special offer!

Giogi helmed by Matteo Balestrero, with the former world champion NicoCelon calling tatctics, conqueres in the light wind of Scarlino ­Tuscany atthe Melges 24 Italian Open National Championship 2013.

Nine Melges 24s made the start line for the Austrian Championship hosted by the SCK on Lake Attersee over the weekend of 30 May to 1 June. They found great wind and great waves although not as much sunshine as they would have liked.

Saturday 15 June is the initial entry deadline for the 2013 Melges 24 European Championship in Medemblik so if you plan to race and want to avoid paying the late entry fee get your entry in now. All details at the event website.
