Worlds 2014 Notice of Race Amendment - Important Information

Dear Melges 24 Worlds 2014 Skippers and Competitors - check the Notice of Race Amendment no 1 published on the website under Regatta Documents. 

There you can find the final shedule of events and important information about insurance announcing that each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance of $10,000,000 (AUD) per incident or the equivalent. Additional (top up) insurance coverage will be available during registration for a fee! If you require additional insurance, visit the event website to arrange yours!

The second very important amendment concerns safety equipment requirements. Transport Safety Victoria, Australia regulations require each boat to carry one portable fire extinguisher, minimum capacity of 0.9 kg. And then last but not least –  it’s stated that racing will be in the Corio Bay; either in the inner or outer harbour.
