NOR 751, Storm Capital Sail Racing Wins Aker Brygge Cup During Oslo Race Week, Norway!
On June 7-8 the Aker Brygge Cup was held in Oslo hosted by the Royal Norwegian Yacht Club. There was 7 Melges 24 boats competing during two days racing among other boats participating this regatta.
Storm Capital Sail Racing (NOR 751) with Stian Briseid in helm claimed the victory in style – with the series of 1-1-1-2 and total sum of 5 points they were ahead of the next boat with 8 points.
2nd place was achieved by the youth team MÅS Melges NORsteam (NOR 283) helmed by Sindre Skrede with 13 points in total. One point behind as the third was Parody (NOR 418), with Henrik Larsen team from Trondheim.
Next event up for the Scandinavian fleet is Hankø Race Week in Norway on June 25-29. Melges Norway is expecting more than 20 Melges 24 boats to compete, including boats from Germany and Sweden.
