Melges 24 European Sailing Series Next Events Are Just Around the Corner
The 3rd Melges 24 European Sailing Series event starts tomorrow, June 21st in Kiel, Germany. On the entry list of the Kieler Woche are 29 boats from 8 different nations – CZE – 1, DEN – 8, GBR – 1, GER – 12, ITA – 2, LIE -1, NED – 2, SUI – 1 and UKR – 1.
Among the favorites are Audi Tron ITA-840 helmed by Riccardo Simoneschi (2014 Europen Championship 4th) and ICZ - Margarita CZE-704 with Martin Trcka in helm (2014 EC 7th). The full information about the Kieler Woche you’ll find here

The 4th Melges 24 European Sailing Series event will be held on June 2-6 at the most fabulous sailing place in Europe - Lake Garda!
DON'T FORGET TO MAKE YOUR ENTRY! Last entry date is June 30th! Racing dates are from the 3rd to the 6th of July. 14 boats from 8 countries on the entry list today but more to come. The Notice of Race is published and please feel free to contact either the IMCA, the Italian Class or the club Fraglia Vela Riva del Garda for more info and support. In Riva del Garda you will experience some innovations and requalification of the event as a test of what could be the Italian Circuit from 2015 onwards – this is the message both from Riccardo Simoneschi and Franco Rossini as they are together cooperating to coordinate and develop the Melges 24 Italian Circuit.
PS Please not that there's a mistake in the Notice of Race in terms of entry fee - correct amount of entry fee is 350 EUR (400 EUR in Notice of Race). If anyone has already paid the entry fee via bank transfer, then 50 EUR will be returned in Riva.

This year's edition of the Melges 24 European Sailing Series will introduce the Corinthian ranking as it is usual for all the events of the Melges 24 Class and the ranking will be called Pro Am (the current standings for both Pro and Pro Am - former Corinthian - are also published now). This series has proven to be a success from the first edition with a very high number of participants.
