Key West A No Brainer For Nicola Ardito's Little Wing

The 27th edition of Key West Race Week sponsored by Quantum concluded last week, with Nicola Ardito's Little Wingfrom Italy winning the overall Melges 24 division. Ardito slammed the fleet with a solid string of bullets from start to finish. 

Long-time American Melges 24 owner Tom Ritter aboardTramp came second, followed by Canada's Richard Reid onZingara. Ritter cashed in with his own set of second's and thirds (taking the last race as a throw out) to place six points ahead of Reid. 

Norway's Jens Wathne claimed fourth overall, only three points behind Reid. Bob Pethick returned to the fleet in his famousBretwalda Melges 24. Steve Boho aboard The 300, rounded out the fleet. Although he finished last surely he was happy to be Key West as back home in Wisconsin, super frigid temperatures were in effect.
