Awesome Start For Melges 24 Fleet At 2015 Helly Hansen Sailing World St. Peterburg NOOD Regatta

St. Petersburg, Florida - The start of the Helly Hansen 2015 St Petersburg NOODs got off to a great start with classic Florida winter conditions for the Melges 24 fleet. Four races were completed in the bright blue, sunny skies in Tampa Bay with lots of planning opportunities with wind speeds averaging 8 - 18 knots.

Canadian M24 owner, Richard Reid got off to fast start with a 1-1-4-2 followed by local USMCA President, Rob Britts finishing the day strong tied for first place with a 3-2-2-1. In third place is Steve Boho and crew with 15 points after 4 races.

The forecast for the rest of the weekend looks great for the second largest fleet at the St. Petersburg NOODs.
