Audi tron Consolidates its Leadership Ahead of Lenny in Loano

4 April 2015 - Loano, Italy - Today's single race has been won by Bombarda Racing Team at this first act of the Audi tron Sailing Series Melges 24, featured by unstable northern winds that did not allow more than one race to be sailed.

Andrea Pozzi's team, making its own debut in the class, collected a favourable margin over Audi Italia Sailing Team's Audi tron, consolidating its leading position, Chris Rast's EFG ranked fifth in this provisional event's ranking hosted by the Yacht Club Marina di Loano and organised by B.Plan Sport&Events (BPSE) together with Melges Europe.

Leading the way with 3 points we have Audi tron followed by Estonian team Lenny with Olympian Tonu Toniste, and  Marco Cavallini's Jeco Team. Very close to podium positions we have Andrea Racchelli's Altea.

Thanks to today's scoring Bombarda Racing Team gained a few positions ranking now eighth between Margarita ICZ with Olympian Martin Trcka and Jorg Hotz's Andele.

Tomorrow's final day will be starting off at 9,55 am hoping to score 3 more results.
