1st February Early Bird Entry Deadline For The Europeans 2014, NoR Amendment No 1 Published

The initial entry deadline for the MKB Bank Melges 24 European Championship 2014, taking place on the Lake Balaton from 2 to 9 May, is in two weeks i.e. Saturday 1 February so if you plan to enter and want to take advantage of the early entry discount take action now and make your entry at the event website. Competitors who have already made their entry but not yet paid their entry fee are reminded that they need to make their payments before 1 February to avoid paying the 30% late entry fee. The payments made after 1 March but before 2 April 2014 will be accepted subject to a 50% late entry fee.

Check also the Notice of Race Amendment no 1 published on the website under NOR. The Amendment was issued in order to correct the account number of the MKB Bank Sailing Yacht Club for the entry fee payments.

At the same time take the chance to book rooms for the event also. Please note that the regatta venue has its own hotel facility () with around 40 rooms which are being made available for the exclusive use of the Melges 24 Europeans. There are many reasons and facilities to have a good and relaxing time at this hotel: swimming pool, deck chairs, sauna, tennis court, mini golf, bowling, billiard etc.
