EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The International Melges 24 Class Association World Council meets annually. It comprises representatives of each of the National Melges 24 Class Associations plus representatives from the Class builders. The IMCA World Council is responsible for electing an IMCA Executive Committee, which takes charge of the day-to-day management of the class on the World Council’s behalf.
The IMCA Executive Committee comprises a Chairman, two Vice Chairmen (one representing the North American National Classes and one representing Europe), the Secretary, the Treasurer and two Ordinary Members (again one representing North American and the other representing Europe). In addition the IMCA Executive Committee currently employs three part time professional staff to assist them in the management of the class (David Chivers, Fiona Brown & Joy Dunigan). These professional staff members have no voting rights.
